  • Barbican Center Silk Street London, England, EC2Y 8DS (map)

Delivered by an outstanding cast directed by Frederic Wake-Walker, Rolf Hind’s opera employs excerpts from Rumi’s poetry in translation together with words by the award-winning poet Dante Micheaux to create a powerful multi-disciplinary piece chronicling love, loss, and spirituality. Sky In a Small Cage is opening the Barbican’s 2024-25 season, presented by Mahogany Opera, joined by Riot Ensemble under conductor Aaron Holloway-Nahum.

Anika is part of the six-member all-star ensemble.
